Meet Keith Cheng
Keith’s journey in physiotherapy began at Curtin University, where he earned his Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2020. Since then, he has joined the team in Central City and worked with a wide range of clients.
With a broad spectrum of experience, Keith has developed a special interest in neck and spine-related pain and dysfunction, which encompasses a range of vestibular conditions such as headaches, migraines, vertigo, dizziness, whiplash disorder, and peripheral nerve pain. Keith also works with many business to assess and improve their Ergonomic needs.
What sets Keith apart as a practitioner is his calming personality. He listens to clients and their unique needs to ensure he provides holistic care. Keith prides himself on providing not just physical support but also fostering empowerment and self-management.
Keith’s treatment philosophy revolves around a multimodal approach, utilising a diverse range of techniques to ensure the most effective and tailored care for each individual. From exercise therapy including Clinical Pilates, as well as dry needling, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (scrapping), soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, manipulation, ultrasound, and shockwave treatment, Keith employs a comprehensive toolbox to address the varied needs of his clients.
Beyond the clinic, Keith is not only a dedicated healthcare professional but also a sports enthusiast. His journey from playing squash at the junior level in Hong Kong to state grade in Perth reflects his commitment to an active lifestyle. This personal connection to sport has given him a unique insight into specific sport-related injuries, and he is proficient in acute injury management, individualised rehabilitation programs, expectation management, long-term recovery and injury prevention.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Keith is a devoted cat lover. His empathy and compassion extend beyond human patients to include a genuine love for our feline friends.
