Meet Ben O’Grady
Ben has moved over from Ireland, and brings with him a passion for exercise and treating patients from all walks of life including elite athletes and individuals managing medical conditions.
He has valuable experience with elite sport, previously treating county, provincial, International and Olympic athletes both in clinic and pitch side. Ben’s passion for sports physio extends beyond the clinic room to the hockey pitch where he has played for Ireland at both youth and senior level and now plays for the Fremantle Cockburn Magpies team.
His specialty areas of interest include knee, hamstring and shoulder injuries, he has worked with youth and senior male and female athletes in rugby, hockey, tennis, athletics and had since moving to Perth has taken a keen interest in footy!
He also holds a Research Master’s degree in wearable technology for healthcare. He is a published first author and an expert in all things smartwatches and fitness trackers!
Ben’s enthusiasm is met with a unique empathy for patients battling challenging illnesses and injuries, he himself is a cancer survivor, of Burkitt Lymphoma. In his own words: “I know what it’s like to feel very unwell and conversely I know what true wellness and peak performance feels like. My mission is to help others in their pursuit of their most well and strongest self.”
